Deep Dive

The deep dive was a project where we had to have a thorough investigation of a problem that infected the Limean population. What I chose to focus on what the lack of arts. With my partner Nicolas Korch, I decided to immerse myself into this harsh issue. We investigating into where this issue was situated, and we figured out that the places that have poor conditions take the arts as secondary topics. For the Deep Dive, we had to find a solution to our problem, which was to make a mural in a district that lacked art. We wanted to make the mural in El Agustino because they have high rates of delinquency, teenage drug addiction, and we had proved that art could mend these problems. We then took pictures with our topic in mind and came up with our exhibition pictures. We as a cohort #IA2019 had an exhibition in the PAC of our pictures and explained them to our audience. Not only did we exhibit our pictures at school, but we went to a real life exhibition place, Fugaz, in Callao monumental, and posted them there.
